Wilks and associates Ltd was contracted for the part removal of RAAC across the chambers roof, working alongside leading industry specialists, works were carried out on a strict timescale and budget. Once the RAAC had been fully removed it was designed that Z purlins would be mechanically fixed to existing steel beams followed by 18mm fire retardant plywood including upstands and forming of new box gutters leaving the site clean and ready for the new roof covering.
